This is a Swedish forum focused on DIY electronics, the tone in here can be a little harsh to newcomers but there are a lot of knowledgeable people here.

This English speaking forum is mainly focused on electric vehicle technology, especially electric bikes.

An electronic magazine (ezine) about the DIY culture.
Stores
There are several places i buy stuff from when I gather material for my contraptions, here I will recommend some of them. There are a couple which are Swedish, but maybe they accept international customers as well.

Hobby King
Hong Kong based company that sells RC stuff at bargain prices. The quality haven’t always been great but I would say that you get more than what you pay for. In addition to RC stuff I have used their larger motors and batteries for E-Bike projects as well.
Sparkfun
American company that sells electronics with hobbyists in mind.
ebikes.ca
Canadian E-bike store that sells all you need to convert your bike to a e-bike. It’s home of the Cycle Analyst and is ran by justin_le on the Endless Sphere forum.
ITead Studios
Cheap PCB manufacturing if you have time to wait. And some electronics as well in the store.
